The Notorious Divorce

Something’s are just about too good to be true. And so it goes for the quite recent bond between
Mr. 10% ( recently known as Mr.Zardari) and Mr.Sharif (don’t let the name foul you). No room for explanations or analysis , the situation was quite self explanatory from day one. After the recent elections or should I call it ‘fanatic posing for another demo revolution‘. Everyone pretty much had an idea where we were heading and that its certainly wasn’t revolutionary. Not when you mean it in a healthy constructive way . Call me a critic but the one that lacks total belief in purely corrupt political opportunists enjoying the convenience of our ‘crippled’ judicial systems. While the make- up and break-up sessions between the judiciary and the government falls in the back drop , we have at our hands another divorce to deal with. This time its our all-so-promising coalition government , exactly the same one which sworn in 3 months ago in ‘public interest’. Its unfortunate after the extreme sympathetic measures taken by National Accessibility Beauro and the President himself, by dissolving a dozen national and international corruption charges for the sake of ‘national interest’. So goes my high hopes that I some how represent a small fraction of this nation, cause certainly this doesn’t interest me much at all. So what happened to all the promises , signed parchments of paper , respecting each others manifestos ? Well I guess all is fair in love in war then . The war here is for power and the hunger for authority and it cant be shoved off until its insured that people who actually are running the country are people representing the intellectuals and not the mill-owner -feudal lords stereotypes. Among the matters that caught most of our attentions is the tussle between the state and the judiciary itself. Large amounts of support on political and humanitarian basis has been shown for the cause. Much had been hoped by the recent government in at least the restoration process needed . If not revolution at least give us reinstatement we say !. But the quite recent events soaked in the least bit of hopes left for the reinstatement process. The real interests behind the catchy tag line of national interest seem pretty much stripped out to the open. It is not about the judiciary , it is about the lack of commitment of understanding the need of time if not people. We might have had a lot of constructive activity happening around for us , but most unfortunately the right timings haven’t been met. Most of the achievements become mere advertisements for political campaigning whilst others are over shadowed by the game for fame process. Whilst we pose to be a struggling nation most of our struggles are trials in vain to get heard by the socio-politically deaf. We don’t make the same mistakes again because we lack intellectuality , no sir its simply because we have forgotten to learn our lessons from history . The history has shown us enough evidence to not associate any hopes from the current ‘power sharing couple’ .And yet some of us continue to do so .For Mr. Zardari , I have no hopes associated with him except of course the possibility of him grabbing an Oscar for the acts he’s been putting up recently. May be someday with his current act of the sophisticated polished politician he might achieve deanship at the ‘London college of business and economics’ the one he graduated from , and quite conveniently the one he invented also. For now we should sit back sip some tea and let the divorce proceed, who knows it might miraculously turn out to be a convenient patch-up just like our fellow leader Altaf Husain’s.
