How exactly is one suppose to feel about people with no moral or ethical values?. What exactly is one suppose to do rather then sit back in utter disgust . I might be conservative I might be anti liberal , but am ready to accept all those accusations just to stand against something as inhuman as this . Our very own beloved GEO tv today in their 50 min show , released the video of the burning mob incident in Karachi . How low can you get ? with nearly half a dozen channels and two leading newspapers under your belt !. Is this the media we stood up for after November 3rd? does this come under the so called media responsibility ?. This incident has haunted me every single day since I heard about it . I understood restlessness ! I understood lack of trust , I also understood the anger and the outburst !. What I didn’t understand is the triumph that came out of watching bleeding flesh burn . For hours I thought of how uncertainties have rubbed off the slightest trace of humanity among our people. The prevailing injustice has cultivated barbarism among everyone of us , in ways that one cant detach. Has violence not been the part of our society for a very long time ? has the law enforcing agencies always been responsible and fair ?. The answers are well-known to all of us , we have all either lived through and heard of time with worse rioting and political turmoils. Unfortunately at a time and place in history when we most need to reflect the good in our society , we are left with nothing to highlight except violence . The constant brain washing trend the media has adopted , even makes me wonder at times , where exactly am I living ?. This isn’t my country , this is not the only thing that happen around here , my country good or bad is mine ! and I will not let anyone distort its image to suit their purpose. I am no media critic , I am a normal Pakistani and all I want to say is let us be ! let us live and let live , we don’t want to see burning flesh , Chopped body parts and bloated dead bodies. Let us not feel disgusted by who we are and spare us the right to be proud of what we have and struggle against that which is unjust.
