A protest is the act of making a strong public expression of disagreement and disapproval. Precisely to show disagreement to something in ‘particular’. The purpose is to send out a message in bold that ‘we do not accept‘. Since the news broke out about the ‘American attacks’ on Pakistan, talks of protesting were out in open. We witnessed ‘Sarmad khurram’ registering his protest in a way he thought was best. Some of us appreciated him praising him as a ‘hero’ , while others called it a publicity gimmick. Everybody had an opinion on how to protest but very few went out to express it. I wouldn’t want to comment on what he or anybody else did , well simply because I myself did nothing so what ever anyone else did was obviously better than me,of course.
Something is obviously better than nothing . So this phase of realization urged me to do something
at least,anything. The beauty of a majority is the providence of ease in delivering a message. While one man strives hard the majority joins in to facilitate the process.I don’t believe burning tyres,blocking roads or calling out for strikes is the answer. How can something destructive end up getting us constructive results?. So what do we do ? we utilize our energies to do something we know we are good at. If all of us who knew how to write could post,email, or fax letters addressing every single media platform in Pakistan , it would make some impact at least? it SHOULD.
I pledged to take things positively even in troubles. The honest me is helpless in finding positivity in current circumstances,while the patriot is insistent. So I will utilise the ‘over exaggerated’ media of ours to register my protest, I need you to join me simply because ‘numbers speak volumes’.This perhaps is my way to seek answers on ‘How do we protest?’.There is always something we can do to register our protests. Lets be selfish for this momment. After all we don’t wish to live with the guilt that we did nothing while our country bledat the hands of brutality.Let’s pave way for a voice that cant be snubbed , a voice that reflects our pain,suffering and most of all our CONCERN. Lets tell the world that ‘ WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS,NOT TODAY NOT EVER!‘.

this thing was in my mind too …how are we going to get anything if we destroy what is remaining!
i thought about writing but then …illiteracy rate came in my mind.i mean the people who could read and write they aren’t doing anything(destruction part)..its that majority of Pakistan THAT doesN’t even know what they are doing .they just do it for the sake of MONEY they get for doing it !

Sometimes actions speaks louder then words, so instead of telling them that we cant take this shit anymore we should promptly act by gunning down those heli’s and planes that dare to violate our air space.

lol anum !! :p. Now that was spontaneous. Ammar ,rightly said gun them down, but there is still a part we need to play to initiate this ? If its not happening there is something we can do to tell the world that we will not accept this and we are not ok with being treated like their god damn property. This is what I came up with and obviously is not the only solution I really am serious about doing something to get our voice heard. Yo got any ideas ? please share.

we need to stand up to them, its as simple as that. we as a nation have no set priorities, no course charted for any destination. if they say we are going to bomb you to stone age, then expose the blackmail to the media and the world. these arm twisting antics should not be allowed. on the other hand, the fundamentalisit in me would say: “a dozen stingers, anza mk1 and mk2 shoulder fired missiles should do the trick”

That is true that we need to stand up against them and we should , but the problem is there is no strategic approach, like right here I tried to seek ideas from everyone as to what we should actually do ?.. am still waiting or hoping someone comes up with something and we could make it work. INSHALLAH we will
