I live in a fairy tale world
Where words speak louder
Slow gentle whispers weave affection
Embellished with Unattainable delights
Hopes that lit the world through
Silly giggles
Naïve eager fancies unfurl
Dipped in pools of dust gold and silver
Breaths a restless soul
That is me in all the glory
Everything I possess
Strolling along the ways of life
Smiling through the miseries
A little angel awaits me
With open arms I cling on
Blares of Prismatic fires lit up the quivering sky
Dancing upon the tessellated floor
Breezing winds rustles
Somewhere a trumpet blows
Soothing symphony
Shadows of unbidden guests
Creaking sound of doors wide open
Fancies fall asunder
Refine sparks of pain
Plunging me into the world that is real
O you are no longer the child you quite seemingly want to be
This is how the real world is meant to be
Following the quest of destiny
A gleam of light awaits me
A fragment of my heart that trails today
The fairy tale world set far away.

we all do…we want to live in a fairy tale which we ourselves could write…however…the reality check brings us back… one should hold on to the fairy tale for peace and tranquility when required…in the worst of times…there should be some place one could go…

True
but then certain ppl aren’t fortunate enough to have that moment for themselves. Sometimes we need to bid farewell to our fairy tale world for a little too long, and usually the ups and downs of life occupy u too much to escape. But its very fortunate however if some of us can actually hop back to that world and be at peace

It’s true, as humans we are prone to picture the world we want to see it, and hear the sounds we wish to hear
.. That isn’t being un-realistic. That is being really real
..
I hope that makes sense but neat blog

I meant “the way we want to see it” ..

@ Hashriani: It does make sense
but then again when ur surrounded by people who want u to see the world in a specific manner you cant help but let go of your wishes at times. It doesn’t make sense hanging on to things when there is a lot more going on that needs you. Either ways glad to know there is someone out there who actually believes in the ‘really real world’

So subjective I do not know where to begin. I would just say that you should live in the world that you prefer. Its best to make the best of the time you have here and forget about the rest. Live in the moment eh and forget about the rest.

First things first. I want to own that house in the picture — complete with that tree and the clouds and the grassy landscape.
Second, beautiful poem. Even if it naively ignores the bitterness of real world. We all deserve occasional escapes in fantasies.
Third, I love the word ‘prismatic’!

saadat it took me ages to get the perfect house and the landscape and I wanted some horses too far away
but that was too much to ask I guess, so this is MINE
and the ocassional escapes to fantasies should be quite frequent and without interruptions
*heavenly*. You have to hav a poetic spirit somewhere coz u always manage to point out the most valuable part of the poem
I like tesellated floors also

Your fairyland is very beautiful reminds me of mine ..
hidden in our dreams, in our secret fanatsies .. how we wish we could all runaway .. and live happily every after, the stories we believed, the queens we saw, little did we know we would grow up and end it all. Still far away we run, into our thoughts and time.. beautiful is the world we see with our own eyes ..
