Everyone had gone back from Hajj and only the Muslims in North of the Arabian Peninsula were there.

At Ghadeer was not the last sermon of Hajjat ul wida of the Prophet (pbuh). Ghadeer is apx 250 km away from Mecca and the last sermon was in Mecca.

Technically it isnt an Eid to begin with. I am having my doubts that saying Eid ul Ghadeer Mubarak is correct because technically we only have 2 Eids.

So its meant to be in the onth of Zil-hajj. His wisaal was later in the months. Am sure you know he discontinued pblic appearnces de to illness.
