i wants great educated balochistan,i love all of balochistani because i was from balochistan.one day i got letter from baloch commands.i wrot it is unbeleaveable for me,oh god mr kashif mahmood advocate getout from balochistan with in one week.because it is land of balochi peoples and you are punjabi.
honourable baloch command i obeyed your order with in three days i went from my mother heart balochistan due to your order.
respected command it is true you demolished your pen.you cut your own finger because we punjabi peoples are your hands,with out hands how can be victory possible.we are born in balochistan first we are balochistani after that we are punjabi and pakistani.

i am half murdered when other peoples said me mr advocate getout balochistan.my grand father from india and he came in pakistan after 1947.my grandfather changed his religion from sikh to muslim.indian door is closed for us.your door closed for us.remember hinduism door opened me forever.if iam not balochistani when iam only sikh or hindu because that is religion of my grandfater i am not responsible of my grandfather mistake and his heaven.when my grandfather ,my father,i am not balochistani then i did not pakistani and muslim because i am not born in islamabad due to pakistani citizenship.

You are most welcome Qurat. The most devastating thing about us is the endless number of times we need to prove ourself to everyone. Prove that we are Pakistani enough,or patriotic enough and the list goes on. Free will is almost non-existent, we need to reassure people around us after every move we make. Its ridiculous, u were asking questions that were based on facts and confirming rumors that have been in the air for far too long.
I don’t see anything wrong with the interview or the questions.His opinions might sound offensive but then you didn’t force him to say it!
We need people to know juts how bad the situation is, we need them to know it so that they can act before it turns into yet another chaos. But that usually never happens we are only expected to keep things in the closet only to be set free when they become irreparable and the damage is maximum.
I think people with learn with time though. Specially with respect to media, I do believe most of us are suffering from an information overload. People are still getting use to it. But at the same time ‘some’ of the media platforms have gone as far as posing to be ‘God’ and saviors or more you name it! (specifically GEO)

Thanks Sana, for the compliments. Got a lot of hate mail for that interview. Most objected I didn’t sound Pakistani enough, the voice of the interviewer was too neutral etc. Actually precisely how I wanted it too. I was also called an Indian agent. Slightly shocking for me when people react this way to what in the end is just an interview.

When people expect journalists too behave like soldiers and government investigators, it really boggles my mind.

Dear Sana,

While going through your article “Taking on the BLA”, I expected it to be a usual rant about Indian involvement, Hindus posing as Balochis and creating mayhem and so on. It is a pleasant surprise that I found none of these and I am truly impressed when you objectively analyzed and concluded that organisations such as the BLA cannot flourish without a well-grounded cause.

I hope that like you, many Pakistanis stop living in a state of denial and do their part in finding a solution
